Lisa Louise Hogan August entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 47. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lisa was a graduate of John Ehret High School and employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Wife of Gralon August. Loving mother of Traci (Jacqueline) Hogan, Terrell Hogan and Courtney Hogan. Devoted grandmother of Jayla Hogan. Daughter of Ernestine Lewis Hogan and the late Alfred Joseph Hogan, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Benjamin and Ernestine Tross Lewis. Sister of Alfred Joseph Hogan, Anthony (Atesha) Hogan, Percy Hogan, Louis Hogan, Kendell Hogan, Karen Hogan, Kim (Terry) Jackson, Robin Hogan , Erica Hogan, Lynette Hogan and the late Tonette Hogan; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Fellowship Christian Center and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at True Fellowship Christian Center, 1101 Franklin St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church.
