Saul Griffin, Sr.

Saul Griffin entered into eternal rest at Tulane Medical Center on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 77. He was a native of Hardwood, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Saul was a retired tire mechanic for BF Goodrich.

Beloved husband of Helen Stewman Griffin. Devoted father of Andre Fuqua, Tyrone Griffin, Kenneth Griffin, and the late Arthur Fuqua. Son of the late Brown and Augustine Griffin. Brother of the late Alfred Taylor, Morris, Owen, and Milton Griffin, and Daree Griffin Newton, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00P.M. Visitation will begin at 12:30P.M. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: McDonogh Cemetery- Gretna, LA.
