Janice Bush Augustus, an independent caregiver, entered into eternal rest of Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 59. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Beloved wife of Harold Augustus, Jr. Devoted mother of Catreena Bush (Joseph), Danielle Cash (Curtis), Precious Wilkerson (Lanelle), Erica (Frank) Smith, Jarius Augustus, Jerome and Shawn Gayle, and the late Harold Augustus III. Grandmother of Terrail Bush, Chaunteion Hall, Jamal Joseph, and Brandon King. Great grandmother of the late Olivia Bush. Daughter of the late Anthony Albert Bush and Mary Ann Bush. Stepdaughter of Burnell Watson. Granddaughter of the late Freddie and Mary Lee Ross and Arthur and Saddie Bush. Sister of Sandra Bush, Anthony Bush, Jr. (Denise), Sterling Bush, Linda Huff (Jeffery), Cynthia Bush, Leon Bush (Sharlene), Wanda Bush, and the late Myrna Bush. Mother-in-law of the late Alexander Abdullah and Carlos Hall; also survived by 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1249 LeBoeuf St., New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00a.m.
