David Honor, Sr.

David “6 Mins” Honor, Sr., a retired truck driver, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at his residence at the age of 75. He was a native of Independence, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Beloved husband of Josephine Honor. Devoted father of Darren Honor, Cynthia Bowie, DeAdra, David, and Reginald Faciane, and the late David, Jr., Desiree, and Joseph Honor. Son of the late Willie and Dora Honor. Grandson of the late David and Eva Honor. Brother of Eva, Gail, Linda, Robin, and Johnny Honor and the late Edward, Terry, Willie, Jr., and Ernestine Honor, also survived by 36 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA.
