Calvin Joseph Walker, Sr. was escorted by angels into the gates of Heaven on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the age of 72. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Calvin resided in Los Angeles, CA for over 40 years, where he owned a very successful technology company, Circuit Image Systems in Fullerton, CA. Beloved husband of Marion Green Walker by 1st marriage and the late Gayle Walker by 2nd marriage. Loving father of Dwight Walker (Alexes), Tyrone “Jabari” Walker (Alicia), Kiesha Walker-Moreira and Calvin Walker, Jr.   Grandfather of Amber Walker, Ashia Cannon, Alexandria Walker, George Moreira, Jr., Santos Moreira, Sam Moreira, Akilah Mosley, Enrique Consenza, Desmond Walker, Imani Sylve, Inaya Walker, and Jabari –Amani Walker. Great grandfather of Calvin Thompson, Jr. Devoted son of Olivia Mae Ferdinand Walker and the late John Walker, Sr. Brother of Eola Bradford (Gaines) and John Walker, Jr. (Carol) both of Los Angeles, CA. Nephew of Clara Walker and Rita Ferdinand. Special uncle of Racheal Wright, Melanie Bradford and Velvet Green. Godfather of Dr. Adrienne Bradford. Brother-in-law of Charles Green, Sr. (Velma). He was preceded in death by Elsie Richard-Jenkins, mother of his son Dwight Walker. Calvin is also survived by his 3rd wife Jovonna Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday May 12, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
