Virleen Green Anderson

Virleen Green Anderson entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her residence at the age of 89. She was a native of Opelousas, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Wife of the late Joseph Anderson. Devoted mother of Joseph, Ernest, Berkman, Feddie, Robert, Gloria, Yvonne, Hilda, Shirley, Linda and the late Shirley Mae Canselo, Leroy “Spoon” and Denise Anderson. Grandmother of the late Joseph Paul Anderson. Daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Guidry Green. Sister of Arthur Green and Stella Green Alexander, also survived by 24 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Family Worship Center and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Family Worship Center 5040 Taravella Rd. Marrero, LA. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Greater St. John B.C. Cemetery-Barataria, LA
