Freddie Lee Douglas

Freddie “Boss Man” Lee Douglas passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 91. He was a native of Hazelhurst, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Freddie was employed with Avondale Shipyard for many years. Beloved husband of Angeline L. Douglas. Loving father of Robert Douglas, Margree D. Runnels, Linda Wilburn, Toronnia (Paul) Stevens, Britney Douglas, Angel (Quincy) Hooks, Julia Harang, Dianne Jackson, Nancy Miller, and the late Freddie Mae Lawrence and Josephine Brown. Son of the late Joseph and Abbie Cain Douglas. Brother of the late A. J. Douglas, Ed F. Douglas, Nellie Alexander, Abbie Golden, Molena Lucas, Naomi Clifton and Jeanette Ard. Brother-in-law of David Lackey, Jr., Ollie Howell, Barbara Lackey, Margia Davis, Anna James and Jacqueline Garnett; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
