Lenora Divinity Conner

Lenora “Dear” Conner, age 88, entered into eternal rest at Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was a native of Utica, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late George Conner, Sr. Loving mother of Betty Jones, George Conner, Jr., Sarah Evans, Shelly Goff, Dorothy Beauregard, Rebecca Alegria, Enice Conner, Stephen Conner, Loyce Conner, Michael Conner, Alice Conner, Jimmy Conner and Anquanette Harris. Daughter of the late Clinton and Genevia Bradley Divinity. Sister of Burnell Divinity, Eddie Shepard, Katie Divinity O’Quinn, Hazel Divinity, Emma Divinity, Vera Divinity and the late Clinton Divinity, Jr., Ora Lee D. Flaggs, Marie Divinity, Ann D. Moore and Robert Divinity ; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, White Oak Missionary Baptist Church of Utica, MS and all neighboring churches; members of the Marrero Senior Citizens are invited to attend a Visitation at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5pm-8pm Funeral Service will be held at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 5142 Hwy 18 Utica, MS on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: White Oak Cemetery-Utica, MS
