George Frederick, Jr.

George “Junie Boy” Fredrick, Jr. was called home on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Margaret’s Nursing Home at the age of 83. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. George was employed for many years as a delivery man for Big Shot, Barq’s Root Beer and Chevrolet. Loving, husband and companion of over 60 years to Lorraine. Father of Dennis, Cheryl, Nathan, Gail, Dwayne (Mary) , Belinda, Ann, Lorraine (Charlie Jr.) Shelita, and the late Cynthia. Son of the late George Fredrick, Sr. and Artimese Jerry. Brother of the late Doris Ancar and Marlo Thomas. Caring friend of Fred and Dorothy Morgan; also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Holt Cemetery, 527 City Park Ave., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
