Carl “Mr. Redd” Christoff, age 60, departed this life on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Devoted father of DeShawn Boies. Loving grandfather of Semaj Boies. Beloved fiancée of Linda Elie. Son of the late Oliver, Sr. and Helen Gillery Christoff. Brother of Vernon Christoff, Linda C. (Edward) Howard, Diane (Jesse) Peters, Michelle Christoff, and the late Christell Banks, Oliver, Jr. and Nathaniel Christoff; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Rock Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Rock Baptist Church, 2300 Rochelle St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00a.m.Pastor Alfredia Loston, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
