Arthur L. Thomas

Arthur Louis Thomas entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence. He was a retired employee of Jefferson Parish Street Department since 2008.  Beloved husband of Eva Golden Thomas for 46 years. Devoted father of Anita Thomas (Melvin) Cutino, Connie Joseph, and Carolyn Ann Thomas. Grandfather of Christopher Marquette Thomas, Cameron Joseph, Sabrina Descshaun Joseph, Lloyd Robinson Joseph, Sebastian Joseph, Demari Joseph , and Ashantee Thompson. Son of the late Alex, Sr. and Eddie Lee Dorothy Thomas. Brother of Elevora Thomas, Alex (Ethelrine) Thomas, Jr., Dorothy Jean Thomas, Cicero Thomas, Bobbie Jean (Eugene) Wilkerson, James Freeman (Maple) Thomas, Evelyn Joyce (Mose) Cedric, Clyde Thomas, and the late Eugene Grayson and Jesse lee Thomas, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 68 years a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Thomas James Brown, Jr., officiating  Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m. -9:50a.m. Only at the above named church.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, LA.
