Carol Denise Harts Steele Knox entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Carrington Place of New Orleans at the age of 59. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.
Beloved wife of Clenzo Knox. Mother of Regina Muse of Fort Worth, TX. Stepmother of Faith Jones and Earnest Knox. Daughter of the late Clarence and Clara W. Harts Wilson. Sister of Reginald Harts, Loretta H. Shelton, and the Calvin Harts (her twin), Catherine Wicker, and Barbara Ann Parker. Niece of Edrina Howard, Loretta Honeycutt, Merlene Maten, Harold Lyons, Guidry Williams, Edrick Johnson, and the late Melvin Williams, also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the also pastors, officers, and members of Second St. John Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Council on Aging (Bridge City) are invited to attend the funeral service at Second St. John Baptist Church 242 Avondale Garden Rd. Avondale, LA on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name church.
Interment will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery-Slidell, LA on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 12:30p.m.
