Demeyond K Sylve

Demeyond “Dank” Kewond Sylve departed this life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of 37. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Demeyond was a graduate of John McDonogh High School, and employed as a Master Candy Maker with Elmer Chocolate. Loving son of Erron and Joan S. Buckner. Brother of Erron Sylve, Sr., Edward Sylve, Sr. and Dione S. Anderson. Grandson of the late John and Dorothy Sylve, Gwendolyn Johnson, and Edward Buckner, Sr. Uncle of the late Kendell Anderson. Nephew of Toye and Jeffery Johnson, and Laurel Sanders. Cousin of the late Branden Dugars, Anthony Perry and Dwayne Williams; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of House of Healing Outreach Ministries and all neighboring churches; employees of Elmer Chocolate Corporation are invited to attend the Funeral Service at House of Healing Outreach Ministries, 2912 Conti St., New Orleans, LA on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
