Norma Poole

Norma Jean Poole entered into eternal rest at Marrero Healthcare Center on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the age of 68. She was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Norma was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and Louisiana Technical College. She was retired Nursing Assistant.  Loving mother of Arcenia (Bryan) Crayton and Avis Harris. Beloved daughter of Helen Poole and the late Benjamin Poole, Sr. Sister of Alvin Poole, Sr., Lionel (Oakley) Poole, Benjamin Poole, Jr., William (Evangeline) Poole, Christopher Poole, Curtis (Tina) Poole, and Carol (Terrance) Dixon; also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St Paul Baptist Church, Good Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Marrero Healthcare Center (formerly Heritage Manor Nursing Home) and Mercy Baptist Hospital are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Frank Williams and Rev. Isaac Smith, officiating Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Will be Private.
