Pamela Stamps Thompson, age 52, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at UT Southwestern Zale Lipshy Hospital in Dallas, TX. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Texarkana, TX. Pamela was a graduate of John Ehret High School. Loving wife of Anthony Dwight Thompson. Devoted mother of Tanishia Marie and Joseph Ramon Stamps, Ashley, Antrinise and Orion Freetime. Daughter of the late Isaac J. Stamps and Shirley Bright Stamps. Granddaughter of the late Joseph and Sweet Ella Stamps and Isaac S. and Mary Miller Bright. Sister of Donald Ray Stamps, Jacqueline Watts Ellis, Melissa Stamps Ambrose, and Jennifer Theresa Stamps; also survived by 1 grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Road Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Aaron Frazier, officiating; Pastor Gilbert Barnes, host pastor
