Beverly Schannell “Sug” Russell entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was a Banquet Coordinator for English Turn Country Club.

Wife of Christopher Morrison by second marriage and the late Charles Steele by first marriage. Devoted mother of Donnell Russell and Charielle Russell Hughes. Grandmother of Khoi Hughes. Daughter of Bertha Russell Jackson and the late Joseph Ross. Granddaughter of the late Richard, Sr. and Alice Russell. Sister of Joseph Russell and Kenneth Jackson. Devoted friend of Josie King-Montegomery and Jill Allen.

Age: 51 years a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C., Pilgrim M.B.C., Heart to Heart Family Worship Center and all neighboring churches; employees of English Turn Golf and Country Club, Red, White, & Blue Thrift Store, Park and Parkways, Cash Cow, Ochsner Hospital, University Medical Center, Westin New Orleans, Canal Place, and RTA are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. 8708 Willow St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
