Isaac Benn, Jr,

Isaac Benn, Jr., age 95, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. He was a native and resident of Algiers, LA (Cutoff Community). Isaac served his country as a member of the United Sates Army during World War II, from which he received numerous commendations. He was a retired Seaman, Carpenter, and Business Owner. Loving father of Curtis Benn, Elaine Williams, Elois Ross, Cynthai Gary, Kermit Gary, Chris Gary, Yolanda Lay, Cierra Stovall, and the late Gwendolyn Taylor. Son of the late Isaac Benn, Sr. and Stella Benn. Brother of the late Eldred, Howard, Hersey, Clarence, Kermit, Charlie, Elizabeth, Melinda Cora, and Helen; also survived by 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SREVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Walter Byes, First Agape Outreach Ministries, officiating.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
