Carol Ann Payton

Carol Ann Payton, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Kenner on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the age of 54. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved companion of 23 years to Calvin Morris Ranton. Devoted mother of Bobby Daryian Ratcliff, Eboni Brayell Payton and Tirus Terrell Payton. Loving daughter of Joseph Coleman Payton and Lois Lee Edwards. Granddaughter of the late Joseph Coleman Payton, Sr., Annie Bell Payton, Leroy Edwards and Edna Mae Edwards. Sister of Troy Lynn Payton, Sr., Gilford Leonard Kizzee, Jr., Carla Fayette Payton, Reba Ann Kizzee, Anna Joell Moore, Roxanne Payton and Dara Payton. Niece of the late John, Herdon, and Clarence Payton, Merle P. Harris and Cecile Joseph. Godmother of Shelita Edwards Lois, and Brandi Henderson; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
