Randy Smith, age 39, departed this life on Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved companion of Monica White. Loving father of Taylor Frazier, and Randy and Rashaah Mason. Stepfather of Demontra Mason. Son of Randy Alexander and Christine S. Alexander. Grandson of Arnichie Allean Dillon Alexander, Lottie Fair, and the late Pecola Harris, Willie Smith, and Alfred Alexander, Sr. Brother of Rondell, Raihaan, and Renada Alexander, Rachelle Smith, Roshanda Alexander Blue, Rakena Holmes, Antoinette Houston Allen, and the late Shawna Smith. Nephew of the late Wanda Jean Alexander, Amanda Fullilove, Mannie Thomas, and Troy Hensley. Devoted friend of Melanie Frank; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown, officiating; Pastor Glibert Barnes, host pastor. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
