Yolanda D. Searls

Yolanda Crockett Searls fell asleep in the blessed hope of Christ’s soon return on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the age of 61. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Wife of the late William Miller, Sr. by first marriage and Larry Searls, Sr. by second marriage. Devoted mother of Tasha and William, Jr. and Marlene Walls. Grandmother of Lamont, Devin, and Shawn Grow, Jamal, Kandis, Kristelle, and Jawan Wall. Daughter of the late Erskin and Lucy Crockett. Sister of Monica Crockett and the late Wardell J. Batiste, Sr. and Vallory Wade, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of the Greater New Orleans area Seventh-day Adventist Churches; participants and sponsors of NA, CA and AA programs are invited to attend the funeral service at Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2400 Delachaise St. New Orleans, LA on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church.

Interment: Providence Park Cemetery- Metairie, LA.
