Reuben O. Berry, Jr. departed this life at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the age of 67. He was a native of Chicago, IL and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Reuben was a retired Sergeant of the Louisiana State Police. Loving father of Kedric Berry, Shalanda Berry (Reginald) Allen, Shawanda Berry (Michael) Silas, Reuben Harrell, Armand Crayton, Adonnis (Catherleen) Crayton, Shelton Berry and Zita Berry. Son of Eugenia Berry and the late Reuben Berry, Sr. Brother of Micah Berry, Zuriel Berry, Keziah Berry Ninalowo, Faustina Berry Davis, Octavia Berry and the late Zita Berry. Former husband of Adelean J. Berry and Debbie R. Berry; also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; members of Knights of Columbus, Knights of Peter Claver, Central State Troopers Association and Louisiana State Troopers Association are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
