Elnora Williams Joseph

Elnora “Sally” Williams Joseph entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Wynhoven Health Care Center at the age of 89. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Mother of the late June Ann Johnson Williams. Grandmother of Marisa Madere. Great grandmother of Alexis Fennidy. Daughter of the late Charles S. Williams, Sr. and Josephine Williams. Sister of Clarence (Betty) Williams, Frank (Mary) Williams, Inez Brent, and the late Iola Price, Beatrice Lovely, Mercedes Dorsey, Charles S. Williams, Jr., and Lawrence (Jabby) Williams. Loving aunt of Samuel Lovely, Jr. to the son she never had. Caring great aunt of Rachell Price (Amaiya Jones, Wesley Jones, III, and Kylinn Jones). Sister in law of Barbara Williams, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Highway Baptist Church, Morning Star Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Government are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Highway Baptist Church 1533 Haydel Dr. Marrero, LA on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
