Derrick Conner

Derrick “Herb” Conner entered the heavens pearly gates on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Canon Hospice at the age of 47.

Long life companion of Kim Smith. Devoted father of Derrick Jackson, Shala Miller, Shavita, Shaquita, Secdricka, and the late Anita, and Shania Allen. Grandfather of the late Kaylan Ward. Beloved son of Wilma L. Jones and the late Nelson Conner. Grandson of the late Edwrina and Joseph Jones, Charles and Agnes Conner. Brother of Vanessa Reynard, Agnes Conner, and the late Nelson Conner, Jr. Godfather of Jah’Ree Vandarugh. Best friend of Kedrick “Cool” Williams. Brother in law of the late Roland Reynard, Sr., also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Loving Faith Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Loving Faith Baptist Church 45 5th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church

Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, LA.
