Seab Horton

Seab “Honey Boy” Horton departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 65. He was a native of Fayette, MS and a resident of Gretna, LA. Seab was a former Assistant Plant Manager at Livaudais Middle School. Devoted companion of Leomie Brooks. Loving father of Nekeitha Fleming and Willie (Robin) Brooks, Jr. Son of the late Robert Horton and Willie M. Davis Horton. Brother of Norvell (Hattie Ray) Davis, Lafayette Horton, Elizabeth Blanton, Mary (Robert) Trimble and Faye (Guy) Sampson. Uncle of the late JeCoby Horton and Trennicia Collins. Great uncle of the late Christian Trimble. Nephew of June Davis Reyes and the late Regina Fry and Blunt Davis. Brother-in-law of Elvira, John (Tina), Frank (Schelander) Royal (Lydia), Sidney (Ruth), and the late Charles Blanton, Sr. and Wallace Phoenix. Special uncle of Marvin Rose. Seab is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, friends Wilma Covington and Irma Monette, his special pet Rex, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: McDonogh Cemetery-Gretna, LA
