Alex Thomas, III

Alex “Peno” Thomas, III answered the call from God on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of Crystal Springs, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Beloved husband of eleven years to Melvina Thomas. Devoted father of Alexis Brinston, Tamia Myles, and Aaliyah Thomas. Stepfather of Justice Rochon. Son of Alex, Jr. and Ethelrine Turner Thomas. Grandson of the late Eddie Lee Thomas, Alex Thomas, Sr., Leola Crawford, and Wash Easton. Brother of Brenda Roussell, Brenette Turner, and Nicole Thomas, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
