Sandra Smith

Sandra Vivian Jackson Smith entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 70. She was a native and resident of Westwego, LA. Sandra was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln High School. She retired from West Jefferson Medical Center after over 40 years of service as a Surgery Scheduling Secretary. Sandra served as a board member of the Westwego Historical Society. Beloved wife of Silvester Smith, Sr. Devoted mother of Silvester (Cynthia) Smith, Jr. Loving grandmother of KayShone L. Smith. Daughter of the late Willie and Vivian Jackson. Granddaughter of the late John Jackson, Clara Noble Jackson, Samuel Peterson and Josephine Peterson. Sister of Theodore W. (Linda) Jackson. Sister-in-law of Louis (Diane) Bingham and Evelina Johnson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Historic True Vine B. C., Shiloh Missionary B. C., Mt. Zion B. C. of Ama, LA, Little Zion #3, Evening Star Missionary B. C., Morning Star Missionary B. C., St. Mary B.
