Brady McKinnies

November 6, 1924 — August 30, 2017

Brady McKinnies, Jr., a retired Longshoreman, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the age of 92. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Brady served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II. Loving father of Brady (Urselanda) McKinnies, III, Veronica (Kevin) Jackson, Neil (Fransisue)Coleman, and the late Kip and Eddie Coleman. Son of the late Brady McKinnies, Sr. and Martha McKinnies. Brother of Joseph McKinnies, Rev. Johnny McKinnies, Martha McKinney, Catherine Bernard, Genevieve Davison, and the late Jafanus McKinnies, Jesse McKinnies and Marion Ware; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of  in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Johnny McKinnies, officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.

Interment: Restlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Avondale, LA
