Rosie Bee Monroe Wyatt entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in Dallas, Texas

Wife of the late Sherman Wyatt. Beloved mother of Alan ( Margie), Arnold, Lisa (Brian), Sandra, Valerie (Julius), Lenell and the late Carolyn Darby, Andria Etta Henderson and Walter “Nick” Wyatt. Daughter of the late Henry Monroe and Georgiana Monroe Smith. Stepdaughter of the late Dan Smith Sr. Sister of Willie Smith Sr. (Terry), Dan Smith Jr., and the late Hannah Mae Bolds (Farris), Shirley, Lazarus, Roosevelt, George, Walter, Lillian and Wilbert ( Linda ) Smith. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 89 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, La., until Hurricane Katrina relocated her to Dallas, Tx. in 2005 Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Home Family Worship Center, Second New Light Mississionary Baptist Church, Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches; residents of Williams J. Fischer Housing Community are invited to attend the funeral service at New Home Family Worship Center 411 Opelousas Ave., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Bishop Leroy Phoenix- officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery-Avondale, La.
