Albert “Sunny” Anthony Sparks entered into eternal rest on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 80. He was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Albert was a retired employee with Southern Scrap Yard as truck driver for 40 years.
Beloved father of Anthony and Shelia Harris Singleton, Anthony and Shantell Howard, Andrea Sparks Ravy, Adrian, Jaton, Kerri, and Elizabeth Martin Claverie, Matthew Nellon, Joannie Sparks Robinson, Anthony, Carlen and Reginald Sparks, and the late Joanette Sparks Winchester and Daryl Sparks. Devoted son of the late Howard and Edna Sparks. Brother of Bessie Brown, Jerrie Howard, Bernice, Valorie, Sarah, Donice Sparks all of Houston, TX, Edna Craig of Baton Rouge, LA, Ernest, Bertrand, and Isaac Sparks of Marrero, LA, Howard Sparks, Jr. of Harvey, LA, Robert L. Sparks of San Francisco, CA, also survived by 53 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church 1020 Cohen St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
