Benny Earl Swangain, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 4, 2017. He was an offshore worker as a Pump Operator.

Devoted father of Benny Earl Swangain, Jr. and Brandy Cunningham. Beloved son of Cleophas Swangain and LaMarion Swangain. Grandson of the late Cleo Swangain, Vera Swangain, and Julius Connerly. Step grandson of the late Annie B. Connerly. Brother of Margie Swangain. Nephew of the late Betty Jean Quinn, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 56 years a native of Tylertown, MS and resident of New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at New Hope Baptist Church 1807 Rev John C Raphael Jr Way New Orleans, LA on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00a.m.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery –Westwego, LA
