Darin “Big Chief” Michael Perry departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 52. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Darin was employed as a Commercial Building Painter. He was Big Chief of Wild Red Flames Indian Tribe. Beloved husband of Karen Lewis Perry. Loving father of Darin Perry, Jr. Stepfather of Kedric Lewis. Grandfather of Kimora Lewis and Kedric Kewis, Jr. Son of Norma B. Perry and the late Richard Perry, Sr. Brother of David (Dwan) Perry, Sr., Lawrence (Pam) Perry, Dennen (Jose) Garcia, Kim (Darren) Polk, and the late Richard Perry, Jr.; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christina Burial at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Phillip St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
Visitation will begin at 12:00p.m. until service time at the above named church.
