Norman Jerry Spooner

Norman J. “Red” “Grandpa Red” Spooner entered into eternal rest on Sunday September 3, 2017 at his residence at the age of 75. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of Trina Sorina Spooner. Devoted father of LeChaundra Spooner, Kirk Spooner, China Sorina, and the late Paul “Buck”. Spooner . Stepfather of Keyon Bernal, Visca Joseph, William, Dirrick, and Emanuel Sorina, and Kendall Butler. Great grandfather of the late Kyrk Brock, Jr. Son of the late W. Norman Spooner and Rita A. T. Spooner. Brother of Charles M. Spooner, and the late William Christopher, and Paul V. Spooner, Sr. Cousin of the late Calvin Bridges, also survived by 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Bernard Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Bernard Community Church 3938 St. Bernard Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named church

Interment: Will Be Private   Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
