Leo R. Thompson, Jr.

Leo Richard Thompson, Jr., age 69, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Leo was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Southern University. He was employed as a Financial Consultant. Loving father of Reginald Lee Thompson. Stepfather of Aaron and Dwayne Washington. Former husband of Theresa Thompson and Mary Thompson. Son of the late Leo R. Thompson, Sr. and Willa Mae Thompson. Grandson of the late Wallace Sr. and Malica Baptiste, and Isom and Leona Thompson. Brother of the late Kenneth Taylor. Stepbrother of Anthony Taylor, Gwen Trudeau, and Paula Johnson; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and member of Progressive Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Progressive Church, 437 Cohen St. Marrero, LA on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
