Loving mother of Lucas Shorty, Shanta Shorty, Brittney Shorty, Chris Shorty and the late Joshua Shorty.

Daughter of the Late Melvina Rousell. Sister of Gus Shorty, Michael Shorty, Dale Shorty , Roland Shorty, Carol Ann Washington, Janice Craft, Julie Ann Hester, Cynthia Shorty, Michelle Shorty, and Irma Lee Shorty, also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A Native of New Orleans, La. and a of resident of Avondale, La.
