Tom Brown, Sr.

Tom Brown, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence. He was a retired employee with Evans Cooperage.

Beloved husband of the late Viola Osborne Brown. Devoted father of Doris B. Dummars, Eunice B. Singleton, Tom Brown, Jr., Otis James Brown, Odessa Brown, Jonathan Brown, and Elder Dolhman Brown, Sr. Grandfather of the late Terry Eugene Dummars, Alfred Dummars, Jr., and Jessie Dummars. Son of the late Sally Hamilton Brown. Brother of the late Robert, Ranson, Lawrence , and Louis Brown, also survived by 27 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 93 years a native of Jeanerette, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Temple of Praise Ministry, First Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gretna, Garden of Prayer Ministry, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Temple of Praise Ministry 1840 Commercial Dr. Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Elder Dolhman Brown, Sr. officiating / Pastor Nelson Dexter, Jr. Host Pastor

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
