Alberta Moody entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Canon Hospice.

Daughter of the late Benny Harris and Angella Chase. Devoted sister of Angela Watkins, and the late Raymond and Randolph Harris. Aunt of Andrea H. (John III) Scott, Angela W. (Wayne) Heims, Marie W. (Amos) Williams, Raymond Harris, and Daniel Watkins, and Melvin R. (Rosell) Taylor. Godmother of John H. Scott, IV. Adopted godmother of Johnan, Andrea, John V, Amyria, Aliyah, and Asia Scott. Special cousin of Brenda Meredith. Friend of Barbara Robert, Eula Berice, and Janice Clinton, also so survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 83 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Historic True Vine B. C., Shiloh Missionary B. C., and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Historic True Vine Baptist Church, 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Leander Johnson, officiating

Visitation will being at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
