Loretta Ann Dawson departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2017 at University Medical Center at the age of 63. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Dawson Jr. Devoted mother of Hebert Dawson III, Raven Dawson, Reagan Dawson and Logan Dawson, Sr.  Daughter of the late Logan and Josephine Jackson Williams. Sister of the late Ethel Williams and Claude Jackson. Aunt of the late Paula Jackson and Claude Jackson Jr. Great aunt of the late Kendric Sherman and Cory Jackson. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Brian Richardson, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
