Mildred McKay Jordan

Mildred McKay Jordan entered into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday October 15, 2017 at the age of 72. She was a native and New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Devoted mother of Brian McKay, Alvrez McKay, and Lisa McKay Bridges. Daughter of the late R. B. Adams and Bertha Chase. Sister of Billy Chase, Henry Chase, Crosby M. Tanner, Irva L. Walker, Robert E. Walker, JoAnn Sutton, Maxine Tanner, Phyllis Tanner, Ruth Walker, Delore Walker, and the late Barbara Phillips, Celia Bailey, Honey Walker, James Walker, Luter Walker, Charley Walker, and Claude Walker. Close friend of the family Shilda Turner and Shiera Turner whom she loved like her own children, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 1701 Estalote  Ave. Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Will Be Private
