Thaddeus DeVore, age 54, peacefully left this earthly life on Monday, October 23, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a retired nurse. Beloved and devoted father of JacQueen A. Harrington and Jodaicia A. Harrington. Stepfather of Donald and Terrence Moore and Anne Marie Chamberlian. Son of the late Arthur G. H. DeVore and Thelma Watson DeVore Sharp. Stepson of the late Ethelda Simon DeVore and James Sharp. Brother of Arthur (Alberta) and Reginald (Nisha) Devore, Randolph (Anastasia) and Joseph (Sonda) Sharp, Juanita Dianne (Raymond) Collins, Darlene (Darryn) Mayes, Cynthia ad Natalie DeVore. Former husband of LaVerise T. Harrington. Nephew of Evangelist Gloria Smith of Seattle WA; also survived by 5 grandsons, 8 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, 6 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church, Mt. Olive B.C., Second Nazarine B. C., Greater Providence B.
