GayAnn Petty Palmer entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the age of 61.

She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Barataria, LA. GayAnn was an employee of Wal Mart Industries Store # 911, Commercial Fisherman, and Owner of Capt. Regis Seafood Barataria, LA

Devoted wife of John Wayne Palmer, Sr. Loving mother Karen Palmer Thomas, Kerry Palmer, Regis Palmer, and the late John Wayne Palmer, Jr. Grandmother of John Anthony Palmer, Willis, Jr., Kaderion, and Karrion Thomas, Tianna and Regis Palmer, Jr. Great grandmother of Samaria Taylor. Daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Petty. Sister of Sherman Petty, Gloria LaCour, Audrey Bouisse, Lorraine Petty, and Nadine Starks, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater St. John Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater St. John Baptist Church 2823 - A Privateer Blvd. Barataria, LA on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name church.

Interment: Bailey Cemetery-Barataria, LA
