Jessie Bell Green Simon

Jessie Bell Green Simon peacefully transitioned her earthly life on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Loving mother of Anthony (Rhonda) Green, Wayne (Sharon) Green, Rose Green, Yolanda (Keith) Victor, Antoinette (Clyde) Matthews, Nicole (Henry) Austin, David (Lois) Mayho, and the late Jacqueline Green. Daughter of the late David Green and Rose Mayho Green, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 76 years a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Ochsner and Jefferson Parish School Board are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at New Zion Baptist Church 1131 Garden Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: St. James Cemetery-Moonshine, LA
