Carole “Chat” Polk Alexander entered into the heavenly gates on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence.

Wife of the late Anthony Alexander, Sr. Mother of Anthony Alexander and the late Lawrence Allen. Daughter of the late Samuel, Sr. and Althea C. Polk. Sister of Alfredia P. (Joseph) Bruster, Daisy P. (Michael) Woods, Donna Polk, Denise S. (Michael) Ramey, Calvin Cleveland, Freddie (Janice) Polk, Stanley Polk and the late Annie P. Roby, Lessie Heisser, Jacqueline Polk, Samuel, Jr., and Clifford Heisser. Devoted friend of Hilda McClure, Linda Birden, Cheryl S. Borne, Carolyn Williams, Elaine Fisher, Loretta Gray, Patricia Veal, and Doreen Phoenix. Godmother of Zana Liddell, Theadrow “Bornfree” Mark, Latrice Sanders, and Ti Ayannia Polk- West. Her extended family Jackie Hamilton, Rodney Hamilton, Sr., Margaret Freeman, and Emma Thompson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends,

Age: 65 years a native and resident of Marrero, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center and all neighboring churches are invited to the Funeral Service at Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center 2100 Ames Blvd. Marrero, La on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
