Christopher Michael Bordere, Sr. departed this life on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 44.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Christopher was employed as a First Class Welder.  Beloved husband of Tahitian Jones Bordere.  Loving father of Christi, Christian, Christopher, Jr., and Jerald Bordere.  Son of Ira Bordere, Sr. and Barbara Burthlong.  Grandson of the late Emmanuel Burthlong, Sr. and Lena Burthlong.  Brother of Ira Bordere, Sr., Jamisha (Anthony) Alexis, Jacqueline Border, Alicia Bordere Lewis, Ariane Bordere, and the late Emmanuel Bordere.  Son-in-law of Jeffery and Judy Joseph, Michael and Linda Jackson.  Brother-in-law of Jeffery Joseph, Jr. and Shanell Jones; also survived by 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Pentecost Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Textron Marine and Bollinger Shipyards are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Pentecost Baptist Church, 1510 Harrison Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
