Dorothy Jean Langley transitioned peacefully from her earthly journey on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the age of 65. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of 33 years to the late Jimmie Langley. Loving mother of Antionette C. (Anthony) Davis, Nicole C. (Patrick) Robinson, and Kizzie Langley. Grandmother of Erica, Dominique, Herbert, Kevin, Patrice, Nyla, Amaia, Desmond, Isaiah, Janeal, Mekhi, and Ni’Vada. Great Grandmother of Corian Jr., Kevin Jr. and Charli. Daughter of Betty Holmes Crossgrow and the late Charlie Crossgrow, Jr. Granddaughter of the late Lun and Ella Holmes, and Charlie and Florence Crossgrow, Sr.   Sister of Lillie ( Jerome) Hicks, Margaret Gloster, Betty Antione, Ella Bates, Melvina Jones, Otis (Barbara) Crossgrow, Timmie (Angela) Crossgrow, Sr., and the late Charlie Crossgrow, III and Luda C. Howard. Godmother of Albert Carter, Jr.; also survive d by 6 stepchildren, and a host of step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Curtis O. Mitchell, officiating
