Edwin Harold “Jimmy Blue” Washington entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Carrington Place of New Orleans. He was the owner of Jimmy Blue Lawn Service and a WW II Veteran of the U. S. Army.

Husband of the late Delores Washington. Father of the late Edwin H. Washington, Jr. Son of the late Edward and Ida Flowers Washington. Great grandson of the late Bill Flowers and Nantsy Flowers Washington. Brother of Doris LeBlanc, Shirley Washington, and the late Edward, George, and James Washington, Iona W. Thompson, Sadie W. Lloyd, Mable W. Lewis, and Daisy Washington. Devoted uncle of George Washington, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

Age: 92 years a native of Bayou Fourche, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery-Slidell, LA
