Lionel M. Bouton, Sr.

Lionel Medrick Bouton, Sr., age 98, departed this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. He was a native of Plattenville, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Lionel retired after 40 years as a steel worker with Glazer Steel and Aluminum. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary R. Bouton. Loving father of Lionel (Marion) Bouton, Jr., Cedric J. (LeVarn) Bouton, Leonora H. Jackson, Brenda B. Narcisse, Vicki B. (Rev. Vaughn, Sr.) Kelly, Connie B. (Anthony) Jones, and the late Clifford J. Bouton. Grandfather of the late Christine G. Henry and Rashad Narcisse. Son of the late Gertrude Boutain. Brother of the late Delia J. Washington. Father-in-law of the late Henry Jackson, Jr. and Ronald Narcisse, Sr.; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Julian Eymard Church and all neighboring churches; members of Holy Name Society of St. Julian Eymard are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:00.m. Rev.Vaughn Kelly, Sr., officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
