Marenthia Nunnery Jackson was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 54.  She was a resident of Waggaman, LA and native Metairie, LA.  Loving wife of 27 years to Marcus Jackson Sr. Devoted mother of Marcus Jackson, Jr. and Marissa Jackson. Daughter of the late Trisha A. Gibson and Eddie J. Nunnery. Sister of Melvin Banks, Shawnea McDonald, and the late Marvin Banks. Niece of Ruth Ann Gibson and Louis Gibson. Daughter in law of the late Rev. Royal Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson. Godmother of Kirston Blair, Brandane Glosten Sr., Brittany Albert, and Faith Johnson. Best friend of Renee’ Lumar and Carolyn Albert; also survived by 3 sisters in law, 2 brothers in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Highway Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Highway Baptist Church,1533 Haydel Drive, Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
