Murphy James Prevost, Jr.

Murphy James Prevost, Jr., transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 37. 

Son of Lucille Cobb Prevost and the late Murphy James Prevost, Sr. Father of Mia Michelle, Alia Danielle and Jaden Prevost. Brother of Melinda Prevost Lewis and Monte J. (Michele) Prevost, Sr. of Harvey, LA. Godson of Mary Alice Patrick of Harvey, LA, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, 1 nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles and other relatives.  

Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers, and members of Dominion and Power Ministries of Harvey, Second Zion Baptist Church of Marrero and Israel Baptist Church of Harvey LA and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School Board are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Services, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00a.m. 

Bishop Jerry J. Henry Sr., Dominion and Power Ministries, officiating.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery - Westwego, LA
