Will Lawson Jr. departed this life on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at his residence. He served his country as a member of the United States Army. Beloved significant other of Edna Pike. Loving father of Monica (Mother Goose), Erica (Fanny Mae), Miracle (Rooster), Melissa (Bumby), Brianna (Taz), Brittany (Bug), Chris (Boy) and Jazmine (Midget). Grandfather of the late Teylan Singleton.

Son of the late Will Lawson Sr., and Mary Carroll. Grandson of the late Daniel and Bessie Lawson and Samuel and Mary Smith. Brother of George Lawson of Las Vegas, NV, Lee Andrew Carroll, Josephine Ward of Waterproof, La. and the late James Smith and JoAnn Griffin. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 62 years, a native of Waterproof, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
