Robert Nathaniel Jones

Robert Nathaniel Jones entered into the gates of heaven to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 40. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.

Devoted father of Robert Arnell Young, Roneka Nyjal Young, and Ra’Quan Javon Johnson. Grandfather of Jehsi Reign Grows, Zoie Rose Alexander, Quinton Myrtel Young. Son of Estralita Y. Soniat and Robert L. Shaw. Stepson of Ruben Nathan Madere. Adoptive son of the late Ernest Jones. Grandson of the late Willie and Ferry Dean Soniat, William and Genieva Shaw. Adoptive grandson of the late Sadie P. Jones. Brother of Ferralita Soniat Madere and Edward Gaddis. Cousin of Renaye C. Woods. Fiance’ of Morrissa Butler (Robert, Tyranikia, Aaron, Nashawhan, Randolph, and Deshawn, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple Church of God In Christ, Marine and Mt. Moriah Ministries, Praise Church, Teen Challenger of Greater New Orleans and all neighboring churches; employees of Tulane Cancer Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Thompson Temple Church of God In Christ 1515 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
